Studio Appointment
Book a one-on-one session at the studio to feel the texture of kozo, gampi, and mitsumata sheets before you commit. We will walk through fiber weight, sheet dimensions, and pairing suggestions for your journal or print project.
Sessions run about 45 minutes. We will have sample swatches and offcuts ready for you to handle.

The Kakigami Studio sits in a quiet corner of Scottville, close to the main road and easy to reach by car or bus. We keep regular workshop hours and welcome visitors who want to see the paper stock in person before buying.

Take the Scottville exit off the main highway and follow Dean Way for about two kilometers. Free street parking is available directly in front of the building.
The number 14 and 27 bus routes both stop at the Dean Way junction, a five-minute walk from the studio entrance.
Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–17:00. Closed on Sundays and public holidays. Private consultations can be arranged by phone or email.

The workshop is on the ground floor, behind the indigo curtain. Ring the bell for pickup orders.
Call between 10:00 and 16:00 for the fastest response. Voicemail is checked twice daily.
For custom paper orders, bulk sheets, or wholesale inquiries, include your project details and timeline.
Closed on public holidays. Paper-cutting demonstrations happen every first Saturday of the month.
For quick questions about stock availability or order status, email is preferred. Phone calls are best for discussing custom paper selections or troubleshooting a kit.
If you're planning a visit to see the washi collection in person, call ahead so the studio can prepare sample sheets for your project type.
